Sgian Dubh 'Kilbeg'
A modern version of the traditional Scottish Sgian Dubh - the 'Kilbeg'. This curvaceous wee knife is crafted with a full tang where the steel in the handle forms the profile. The blade comes in N690 stainless steel with a satin finish or K110 (D2) with a stonewash finish - they not only look the part, but they're great performing steels as well! The Kilbeg has a Bog Oak (between 2000 and 5000 years old) handle with fibre liners and brass pins - various color liners are available. The sheath is also 100% handmade in-house with saddle stitching and some toolwork.
The 'Kilbeg' Sgian Dubh makes use of high quality materials sourced from around the world and is hand crafted with a superb fit and finish. Completely functional (sharp!) and built to last. If looked after, your Baleta Handmade Sgian Dubh will easily provide a lifetime of use and you'll be able to proudly pass it on for future generations to enjoy.
